Well all I can say is you have to see it to believe it. The walleye fishing in the western basin is the best I have seen in my 40 years of fishing lake Erie. It is fast fun and the fillets are damn taste. Give me a call and we will get you set up to experience this great fishing.

Hi everyone. I thought that I would let everyone know that as of May 12th we are allowed to take customers fishing. The crew will have to wear face cover or mask and it is asked that the customers do also. The boat and fishing equipment will be cleaned after each use with Clorox cleanup. We will practice the 6' rule for social distancing. The fishing has been good and should be good all year. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you up here at the big pond.

This season is a rap. The boats are out of the water and being winterized. Thanks to our customers for a great season. This is what we all have been waiting on. Most of those small fish from last year have grownup and are now keepers. Limits are coming quickly most days and for the most part every trip. Our Sunday charter was a great time. We finished with 42 fish 6 of them where over 26". We only had about a dozen throw back's. Lots of fun. We have some open dates, so if you like to lake Erie walleye or perch fish give us a call Capt Roger or myself would enjoy taking you fishing.

We ran our first jig trip of the yesterday. We waited til 9AM to push off and that was the right call and still had ice buildup on the bow and windshield. The lake is still stirred up from all the blows we've had lately. water clarity was about 6" when we started and improved as the day went on to a foot. There was 3 customers and myself and we managed to catch 7 walleyes. Water temp was 38 degrees, sunny sky, and less than 10 MPH west wind. All thing considered it was not a bad day.

We are running a March and April special for active military and first responders. As a way of showing our thanks and respect we are reducing the cost of any fishing trip scheduled and a deposit received by the end of April to these people who protect our way of life. Thank you and God bless you.

2017 season

The 2017 season has came to an end for us. The boats are put away after a very productive walleye and perch season. We had a good number of limits of both species and a nice grade of fish. After having three good walleye hatches the outlook for walleye next year and the foreseeable future is excellent. The perch are expected to strive as well. The bass fishing is good, not as many but bigger fish. Look forward to seeing everybody next spring and good fishing to all. Thanks, Captain Al
